This baroque fortified farmhouse with a private pool, terraces, and a splendid private garden, surrounded by the rich Sicilian countryside, is conveniently located between Ragusa and Marina di Ragusa, offering you an exclusive and authentic Sicilian experience.
The villa was built during the XIX century by the Schininà family.
Influenced by both Baroque and Moorish architectural design, which date back to ancient Sicily, the villa is built entirely out of monolithic stones.
The tastefully recently renovated interiors have preserved their authentic elegance and Sicilian flavor, with vault ceilings, Sicilian maiolica, and arches throughout.
The villa is built around a characteristic central courtyard with access to the ground floor, the garden, terrace, and the swimming pool area.
The ground floor features high vault ceilings that bear witness to the history of this charismatic villa. The ancient "carrittaria" (cart room) has been converted into a stunning and spacious living area with a dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and sitting room with a stone fireplace.
The villa has 3 impeccable bedrooms, set in high bare stone vaults, that can accommodate up to 10 people. All bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom.

The garden boasts secular olive trees, fruit trees, aromatic plants, a vegetable garden, lemons, and pomegranate.
From Villa Maiolica’s secret garden, a stone staircase will take you to the main floor of the house, where a large panoramic terrace looks onto the meadows and towards the sea to the south.
Here you will find an additional house with three spacious double bedrooms, all with their own bathroom, a living area with a fireplace, a traditional rustic Sicilian kitchen, and a large terrace with views of the countryside to the north.
Whether you take a stroll through the countryside, go to the nearby beach, opt to relax in the villa’s luxurious pool, dine under the stars, or have breakfast in the shade of the Mediterranean garden, Villa Maiolica will delight your senses and offer you an exclusive and authentic experience in this ancient, mystical, and fertile land.
